We are delighted to announce…
The Wishing Will Foundation is thrilled to announce its founding partnership with Thames Hospice, the local charity providing both inpatient and community palliative and end-of-life care services across East Berkshire and South Buckinghamshire. The Wishing Will Foundation, which supports people wanting to write or update their Will, first became aware of the amazing work of Thames Hospice through our Directors’ personal experience with clients who have needed the Hospice’s support.
Thames Hospice provides nursing, medical and therapeutic care within its new facility by Bray Lake and in people’s homes, supporting the physical, social and psychological needs of everyone it cares for. The charity’s highly skilled doctors and nurses work with patients and their families to develop a complete programme of care tailored to their needs, treating everyone with dignity and respect.
Frances Greaney, Gifts in Wills Officer at Thames Hospice says:
“Demand for our services is growing and we need to ensure that we can give people in our community the best possible care now and in the future. We are very grateful to Jade, Duncan and Stephen at The Wishing Will Foundation for developing this innovative way to support the work of local charities like ours using their professional skills and expertise. Gifts in Wills are a key part of our financial stability, helping us to provide our services free of charge, 365 days a year. We look forward to working with Jade and the team in future.”
Thames Hospice is a registered charity (No 1108298) and relies on the support of the local community for over 50% of the funds it needs each year. We therefore hope that we are able to make a significant contribution to their funding needs through The Wishing Will Foundation.
By using the Wishing Will Scheme to create your Will, you can help support the amazing work Thames Hospice does helping local people with life-limiting illnesses as well as making sure your own affairs are in order.
