The Wishing Will Foundation’s mission is simple; to raise as much money as we can to support end-of-life, palliative care and respite hospices in the Thames Valley area, as well as raising additional funds for other incredibly important, local charities supporting our community so that they can all continue to provide vital services and support for many years to come.

As lawyers, the Directors also want to help ensure that the members of our community have the peace-of-mind and surety that comes with having a valid Will in place.

Did you know that 7 out of 10 people do not have a current Will?

This means their Estate will be distributed in accordance with the Intestacy Rules and this usually doesn’t reflect their true wishes or intentions and can lead to costly, time-consuming disputes between the family members or beneficiaries.

The Wishing Will Foundation operates on a non-profit basis.

We are determined to ensure as much money as possible passes to the charities we support and we are prepared to put our money where our mouth is; that’s why we guarantee that a minimum of 90% of our fees are donated to those charities.

Some of the remaining 10% goes towards ensuring that we can offer our services to as many people as possible, for as long as possible, with any surplus being paid back to the charities we support.

Our biggest fundraising activity is our Wishing Will Scheme, which sees us partner with firms of qualified Solicitors to provide individuals with expertly drafted Wills.

The fees for preparing the Wills are given to The Wishing Will Foundation for us to make grants to the Charities.

The Scheme operates all year round and is available to those using the services of our partnered charities, care homes and will soon be open to the general public too.

Click here to visit our Remembrance Wall, where we honour the memory of those who have kindly supported The Wishing Will Foundation and ensure that their legacy in supporting our community is never forgotten.
